Wes Craven om Scream 4

MorbidMuch, webmaster på den populära Scream Trilogy, fick häromdagen ett mail från Wes Craven själv. I brevet förklarar Wes Craven att han vill ägna sig åt andra projekt och inte planera en Scream 4, som en del rykten har påstått.

"Regarding your comments about how I 'won't shut up about Scream 4'...

Consider this the final word.I have no intention or making Scream 4.

I have several projects that will keep me occupied for the next couple
of years. While the Scream films have been a wonderful experience, I
have other projects to pursue. I certainly appreciate the loyalty of the
Scream fans and their enthusiasm for the films, but I think that we've
done what we had set out to do.

I would also appreciate it if would squelch the rumor that I am
accepting Scream 4 scripts. We have been inundated with amateur
writers that are saying that they heard this was true from your site.

Däremot har väl inte filmbolaget Dimension Films lagt planerna åt sidan, även om de flesta av tittarna är överens om att Scream 3 borde vara slutet på den populära filmserien.
