Renny Harlin gör Freddy vs Jason

- Det verkar som om "Freddy vs Jason" äntligen har fått sig en regissör. New Line Cinema rapporterar att det blir Renny Harlin ("Deep blue sea", "Terror på Elm street 4") som ska sätta tänderna i det efterlängtade filmprojektet.


Variety skriver följande:

"New Line Cinema chief CEO Michael DeLuca unveiled the studio's third quarter production itinerary at a Producers Guild luncheon last week in Venture, CA. Among the notable projects on tap is The Chaser, a biopic about the tragic life of Louisiana heir Robert Embert. James Cox (Leonard Cohen After World) will direct from a Hilary Henkin (Wag The Dog) script. Also in the works is Freddy Vs. Jason, the anticipated clash between horror's most famous screen icons. Renny Harlin has been signed to direct. Harlin has cut his teeth on horror before. He direected 1988's A Nightmare On Elm Street 4. He has also been tagged to direct Champs, an action thriller written and starring Sylvester Stallone."
