Ford & Woo gör en western?
Cinescape Online fick det här tipset från nån vid namn "Tequila Mockingbird" angående ryktet att John Woo skulle göra sitt nästa projekt tillsammans med Harrison Ford och John Travolta.
"Further to your mention of John Woo working with both Harrison Ford and John Travolta in an up-coming project, the following quote appeared in a recent issue of the UK action/thriller magazine: Impact. It was part of an interview with David Logan, the script-writer on the recent John Hannah flick Circus.
"On the last week of shooting Circus I got a call to say that (Sony) had got a script that they needed a 'Page One rewrite' for. My name had been put forward and John Woo will probably be directing it somewhere down the line. It's a western...it's actually Butch Cassidy thirty years later. He didn't, as once thought, die in Bolivia. In fact it's believed to be true that he left Sundance in Bolivia (who later died with someone else) and died years later back in Washington State. I bought a book with photos which show Butch in 1896 and a man called William Phillips in 1930 and (as far as I'm concerned) it IS the same man! That's what its about. Basically Jerry LeForge is the sheriff chasing Butch and Sundance in the original film. My story is basically Butch and LeForge, for a set of seasons, teaming up. It's action with a historical twist. With John Woo you know its going to be good. And Harrison Ford is apparently the actor they want for La Forge."
